Dr. Andrea D. Davis writes historical fiction, memoir, biographies, and travel logs. History, word craft, and the stories found in archival records come together in her craft along with her interest in travel and culture.
In all of her studies, she has endeavored to understand various cultures and how they are represented. In All the Write Stuff she writes tidbits of history, travel logs, and of the writing process and inspiration.
Dr. Davis has written and edited academic books and chapters including Metamorphosis and Play/Write. She has spent more than 15 years teaching a wide range of writing courses to undergraduates and graduate students.
In addition to authoring books, Dr. Davis is also a caregiver for her father
